Xpeng Aeroht974 Archives a Chinese flying car startup that is majority controlled by electric vehicle maker Xpeng Motors, is working with several investment banks on a stock market listing that could happen in the US or Hong Kong, sources have told Bloomberg. It is unknown how much Xpeng Aeroht plans to raise from the share sale and the company’s plans could still change, according to the report. Last March, Xpeng Aeroht filed its application to Chinese regulators for a production certification (PC) for the aircraft part of its modular, hybrid Land Aircraft Carrier, which is built on a modular system allowing the separation of the flight and automobile components. The company is aiming for mass production and delivery of the electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in 2026 when an assembly plant is set to open with an annual capacity of 10,000 units in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou.
